In light of concerns about COVID-19, Foxlowe Films have taken the difficult decision to postpone the last three films of their Tuesday night spring season until a later date. We’ve made this decision, based on advice from Cinema for All, with the health of our community and our band of volunteers in mind and the possible economic impact on the Foxlowe of reduced cinema numbers. Hopefully we’re being over cautious but given the age groups that attend the films and the age range of our volunteers, it feels like the right thing to do. Additionally we have to be very mindful of audience size with relation to the cost of the film to avoid losses. We will delay making a decision about our documentary film, as it is not due to screen until 8th April. The decisions for guest films will be taken by their organisers. All calendar entries will be updated accordingly once the decisions are made.
Please note this only affects the film programmes and for all other events please check elsewhere on the Foxlowe website and on the Facebook site.
We will update on future screenings as circumstances unfold. Apologies to anyone who planned to attend. If you have booked online, WeGotTickets, the booking agency, will keep you informed, as we hope to reschedule at a later date. However they can also arrange a refund if that is your preference.
