Sir John Falstaff – a rogue, a philanderer and a glutton – takes centre stage in Simon Downing’s hilarious new play. In this new comedy we find Falstaff, played by Giles Shenton (Old Herbaceous & Three Men in a Boat), in his bedroom in the Boar’s Head being nursed by Mistress Quickly.

This is an evening packed with riotous laughter, quick-witted banter, and more Shakespearean insults than you can shake a tankard at!   A warm, joyous and unashamedly fun theatrical experience, with comedy, classic theatre and larger-than-life characters.

The creditors arrive demanding payment. Will Falstaff resort to marrying Mistress Quickly in order to pay off his debts? Will he turn teetotal? Will he mellow in his old age?
