Heritage Open Day
Discover the history of the Foxlowe – its past, present and future. We have guided walks, displays and this year Lace Wars will be on hand in period costume to explain Bonnie Prince Charlie’s invasion of 1745. Bonnie Prince Charlie stayed in the house that preceded the present Georgian building.
The Foxlowe Art Club will be presenting their debut exhibition: “Cherishing Nature”, a body of work inspired by the beauty, diversity and vulnerability of our natural heritage.
Chair of the Foxlowe, Chris Thompson said: “It’s a free event and provides a great opportunity to explore this amazing Georgian building, which is run by a fantastic group of hard-working volunteers”.
