Definitely Mightbe + Adored
Leek’s going ‘mad for it’ in June!
The longest established Oasis tribute in the world returns to Leek on Saturday 6th June 2020 as part of the town’s popular arts festival.
Together for 19 years and with over 2,000 shows under their belt, it’s easy to see why Definitely Mightbe are the most successful and admired Oasis show out there. With several tours on the prestigious O2 Academy circuit, appearances at huge open air festivals, continual tours across the UK and Ireland plus gigs all over Europe, the Middle East and even the Caribbean!
The Stone Roses were one of the most influential rock bands from England, active during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Along with other bands such as the Happy Mondays and Inspiral Carpets, they comprised the core of the Madchester Baggy scene, centred around Manchester, England.
Adored, their definitive tribute, reproduce the sound and atmosphere the originals created with such detailed accuracy, you’d think the Roses had climbed on stage beside them!
Foxlowe Volunteer Dave Swarbrook, who’s helped to organise the double-header gig, said “Incredibly it’s over 30 years since the release of the Stone Roses debut album ‘ The Stone Roses’ and 26 years since the release of Oasis’s debut album ‘Definitely Maybe’ so with two of the best tribute bands to the Manchester legends this is a night that no Britpop fan will want to miss out on!!”
8pm doors for an 8.30pm start
Tickets are £12, available from Foxlowe Arts Centre Box Office and online.
