Cheshire Artists Network Showcase – Meet the Artists
SHOWCASE at FOXLOWE
An exhibition by members of Cheshire Artists Network 11th June to 23rd July.
Artists from Cheshire Artists Network are pleased to be showing their work at Foxlowe Arts Centre. CAN is a legally constituted, not-for-profit, artist led organisation currently with thirty-five members.
Members are selected on the basis that they are professional, contemporary, visual artists living and working in Cheshire, with a track record of quality practice in the visual arts. The length of membership varies but artists usually stay with the organisation for several years.
The organisation has been in existence for twenty years and has a diverse range of visual artists. We aim to develop good practice, make high quality work and exhibit three or four times a year. We endeavour to engage with the community, providing individuals and groups with an opportunity to access and enjoy their own creativity, as well as increased access to view and enjoy our work.
There are a diverse range of disciplines, styles and media, including; painting, printmaking, drawing, sculpture, textiles, ceramics, photography and jewellery.
Individuals choose which exhibitions they want to participate in from the three or four planned each year. Projects are often within Cheshire, but are also outside of the county, sometimes sharing space with artists from different counties and countries.
So far in 2022 CAN have held exhibitions at the Willow Gallery, Oswestry and Arley Hall near Northwich. For more information and images of artists’ work please go to our website at www.c-a-n.co.uk 30% of all sales from this exhibition will go to Foxlowe Arts Centre.
