Rose of Nevada (15)

Mark Jenkin’s (Bait, Enys Men) newest film just in time for Halloween, is another Cornish classic – a homespun, sea-brined chiller. Thirty years after it was lost, a fishing boat reappears in its old harbour. Looking for a change in their fortune, young father Nick (George MacKay) and enigmatic newcomer Liam (Callum Turner) join captain Murgey (Francis Magee) and they head to sea. But when they return, satisfied with their haul, something is amiss – they’ve slipped back in time, and the villagers greet them as if they are the original crew of the old vessel.
