Evelyn (Michelle Yeoh), an overwhelmed Chinese/American laundrette owner, whilst struggling to finish her taxes finds herself at the centre of an insane adventure. She is interrupted by a ‘multiverse’ traveller who tells her she must connect with countless parallel universe versions of herself – all to prevent a powerful being from causing the destruction of them all.
