SUMMARY:Comédie Française (PG)
DESCRIPTION:Bertrand Usclat and Martin Darondeau’s hilarious comedy is a love letter to the theatre, set during the chaotic three hours before the opening night of Shakespeare’s Macbeth at Paris’s prestigious Comédie-Française. France’s hit summer comedy and the runaway winner of four awards at the Alpe d’Huez comedy Film Festival, Comédie Française is a delicious behind-the-scenes farce which is unafraid to poke fun at the highbrow reputation of French theatre. Featuring a cast of real-life members of the Comédie-Française company, this is a gleeful, knowing parody and a sheer delight.\nFrance 2026  75 mins  Dir: Bertrand Usclat & Martin Darondeau (subtitled)\nTuesday 3rd November\nCinema located on first floor – regrettably no disabled access.\nLicensed bar, hot drinks available from 7 pm.\nAdvance tickets available in the cafe and online. If there are no more tickets available online, you can ring the cafe (01538 386112) to see if/how many offline tickets are left.\nTickets: £7.00\nDoors: 7:00pm\nFilm starts: 7:45pm\n\n
