SUMMARY:Honey Ryder
DESCRIPTION:It’s great to welcome Honey Ryder to The Foxlowe for a headline set this summer.\nLed by the distinctive voice of Lindsay O’Mahony, Honey Ryder blend Americana, folk-rock and Nashville stylings into their songwriting, Featuring rich vocal harmonies and polished musicianship they deliver emotionally resonant songs, that range from joyful to reflective whilst conveying warmth and intimacy.\nThe band perform on the night as a 6-piece;\nLindsay O’Mahony – Lead Vocals / Acoustic guitar\nMatt Bishop – Lead guitar\nJase Huxley – Acoustic guitar, mandolin and backing vocals\nJonny Mansell – Bass guitar\nTom Bishop – Drums\nSara Eker – Backing vocals\nSpecial guest Ava Ralph opens the evening with her jazz-tinged songwriting, carried by a rich soulful voice.\nHoney Ryder are a British music group from London (with roots also in Staffordshire). They burst onto the chart scene with two UK Top 40 singles—“Numb” and “Fly Away”—from their debut album Rising Up (2009), which showcased a mix of heartfelt acoustic tunes and radio-ready hooks.\nTheir follow-up albums Marley’s Chains (2012) and Born in a Bottle (2014) saw the band developing their sound further, including recording sessions in Nashville and drawing on influences from classic folk-rock and country-tinged storytelling.\nHoney Ryder have shared stages with artists such as Texas, Will Young, Michael Bolton and Hue & Cry, performed at notable festivals including Isle of Wight and Cornbury, and appeared on BBC Radio 2 and This Morning on ITV.\nOver nearly two decades, their music has bridged the gap between folk-rooted storytelling and contemporary roots-rock, building a loyal fan community and continuing to release new material directly to supporters while maintaining their independent spirit.\nTickets are £15 + booking fee\nThursday 25th June, 2026\nDoor time: 7:30pm, start time: 8:00pm\n.All ages (under-16s must be accompanied by an adult)\n
