DESCRIPTION:Funhouse Comedy Club returns to Foxlowe Arts Centre, Leek on Thursday June 5th for a laughter packed night.\nTopping the bill is TV and radio presenter and multi award winning comedian Matt Richardson, who has appeared on numerous TV shows including ‘Never Mind The Buzzcocks’. Full of talent and energy his observational comedy is both clever and demonstrative whilst his slightly ‘laddish’ but self-deprecating tales are delivered with a real twinkle in his eye.\nOpening the night will be Pierre Hollins who has been an audience favourite on the comedy circuit for many years, and has headlined at clubs throughout the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. In the early days, he worked as a support act to Lenny Henry and Rory Bremner, appeared in the West End with Rita Rudner and toured with The Flying Pickets, Willie Rushton & Barry Cryer. He has completely re-invented his act several times. In a more recent incarnation, he was found wielding an electric squash racket! His relaxed amiability is defined by a compelling conversational style and absurd guitar posturing.\nCompleting the line-up is Scottish funnyman Kevin Daniel one of the fastest rising stars on the Midlands circuit with hilarious, relatable material going down a storm at clubs across the region. His commanding stage presence, exquisite storytelling and quips aplenty always leave audiences wanting more.\nCompere for the night will be the cheeky, chatty Dave Twentyman, who puts a big smile on everyone’s face.
