DESCRIPTION:\nWe are most excited to welcome Richard Jobson to The Foxlowe, where he will be joined by John Robb to discuss his fascinating life and career in music, TV & film and literature. He will also perform a short selection of classic Skids songs with current guitarist Connor Whyte. \nRichard Jobson was born in Kirkcaldy Scotland 1960. He joined the punk band The Skids when he was 16 years old. They had a string of hits including Into the Valley, The Saints are Coming and Working for the Yankee Dollar before the disbanded in 1981. \nHe went on to act in a variety of stage plays before working as TV presenter on Arts shows such as 01-for London and Sky’s The Movie Show.\nAfter producing movies for Sky and Mirimax he directed a version of his own book 16 Years of Alcohol to great critical acclaim.
